[Rd] gretl and R: info and request

Hi,
There are a couple of ways you could go.

One would be to build your application as an R library so that it could be
called from R and access your programs functions through and API an
example of this approach is ggobi, at www.ggobi.org. 

you can embed R in your application, a neat way might be to incorporate a
python shell into your application and compile R as a python module, i
believe you can find more documentation on thi approach on the omeghat web
page.

A third way (though i find this also cludgy) is to use interapplication
communication protocols such as corba or com.

I am sure there are more ways.
