Hi,
Sorry for cross-posting the last error message.
I have encountered some more strange problems when loading another of my
libraries. I get a parsing error ("syntax error on line 1707"). I have
carefully looked at my code and there are no syntax errors. In fact, on
R64.1 this function was parsed in properly when the library was loaded
(I just copied the library from one version to another without making any
changes).
I saved my function which is 1734 lines long (all one function) and it appears
that source will not parse a function with more than 1707 lines. Even more
puzzling, if I copy the function and paste it right at the R prompt, the
function does not yield any parsing problem... Would there therefore be a
buffer limit problems of some kind for sourcing files??? If so how can I
modify it??
Thank you,
Patrick.
