cbind problem (PR#339)

Probably related to the rbind problem:

> mm<-matrix(0,2,2)
> nn<-c(1,2)
> cbind(mm,nn)
       nn  
[1,] 0  0 1
[2,] 0  0 2
> dimnames(cbind(mm,nn))
[[1]]
NULL

[[2]]
[1] ""   "nn" ""  

The column names are wrong (though at least no segfault this time)
