Can you tell us which version of the lme library you are using?

I don't see this with the most recent version (3.0b7-1) of the lme
library. In that version the lmList help page starts with

List of lm Objects with a Common Model

        lmList(object, data, level, na.action, pool)

I did cause some confusion by not uploading the tar file for
lme_3.0b7-2.tar.gz with the correct name. The result was that there
were two packages, lme and lme3, listed on the web pages for a while.
To get the most recent version go directly to the src/contrib
directory and download lme_3.0b7-2.tar.gz

(Fritz or Andreas: Could you take a look at the PACKAGES.html file in
the src/contrib library? I think it will need to be modified by
hand. Sorry for this confusion.)
