Sounds like Martin needs to fix his auto-update scripts...
We changed the name of "aux" because it was causing grief on Windows
platforms. I had to sneak sneak a little behind the back of CVS to do
it, and some manual intervention was needed to get the updates right.
Meanwhile, symlinking, or simply renaming aux to tools should work.
