Well, for me configure gives (as its 2nd output line)

checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/installbsd -c
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But then, I install in the build directory and this may be the reason that
I don't see problems afterwards.
