I think it quite likely that we could do pick up that code for use by
the R project. Ben, could you point us to the part of PSPP where you
parse the SPSS .sav format (or whatever they call it)?
Saikat DebRoy and I are currently working on code to parse the SAS
XPORT data format and incorportate those files into R. We can
certainly share that with you when it is complete.
