What is wrong?
pre-0.65 has
 \arguments{
     ....
   \item{adj}{one or two numeric values which specify the x
     (and optionally y) adjustment of the labels.}
     ....
 }
    JonR> Perhaps the following might be added to the
    JonR> details.
okay, I'm about to add this:
    JonR>      Values of 0, 0.5, and 1 specify left/top, middle and
    JonR> right/bottom, respectively. The default is for centred text, ie
    JonR> \code{adj = c(0.5, 0.5)}.
