Packages for RedHat 4.2, Debian 1.3

RedHat 5.0 comes with libreadline.so.3.  R-base depends on
libreadline.so.2.  There seem to be no other unresolved dependencies, so
I'm looking to find a copy of libreadlin.so.2...
