Another situation, where an argument is not properly checked :

> plot(1:10,type='l',lty='01')

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  58 (X_SetDashes)
  Value in failed request:  0x0
  Serial number of failed request:  26
  Current serial number in output stream:  29

Process R exited abnormally with code 1 at Thu Jan  8 18:13:55 1998
