R-alpha: random number generator

The random number generator is different and also the random seed length

is different. As far as I know there is no way to reproduce the same
random experiments in R that you may have performed in S (but if you
figure it out please let me know). However, in my fairly casual
experimentation the general results of random experiments tend to be the

same (good thing!).
