R-alpha: New version of R for testing

There is a bug in image() which I think I reported before but which isn't
in TASKS.  The little rectangles it draws don't quite meet up in the
vertical direction if an image is drawn in x11() and then printed using
save.plot().

Looking at the code I can't see how this could possibly happen, and it
didn't happen in the interpreted version, but it might be worth putting in
an overlap of 1% or so to stop it.
