[ESS] R buffer does not appear Mac OSX Aquamacs

Hi,

After starting M-x R  in Aquamacs the buffer containing the R process is 
listed in the 'Window' as 'R (bullett)' i.e. existing, but it is not 
accessible in any of the desktops.

Starting R in the terminal yields
