[ESS] [OT] emacs on OS X (was Re: ESS 14.09 released)

Hi Gregory,

Thanks.  Good to know.  I'll give Vincent Goulet’s Emacs another try.  I
compiled myself to get rid of the distnoted problem.

Since I guess there are quite a few emacs/OSX users and I do not see
others reporting anything similar, this is probably somehow a problem on
my side...
