[ESS] Pasted commands are not inserted in the history

Hello,

If I select a command from the source buffer (as a region) and press C-c
C-c, it's copied and run in the iESS buffer. Expected ;-)  All good so
far!

But if I want to edit it, I do <C-up> (for comint-previous-input)... and
I get the previous command which I manually typed in the iESS buffer,
NOT the one that has just been run...

Is this a bug?

How to access the last run command without having to select it as
a region in the iESS buffer, and copy/paste'ing it?
