[ESS] ess and AUCTeX

Hi Vitalie,

thanks for that fast reply!

I tried changing ess-pdf-viewer-pref by giving the full path to the executable of SumatraPDF,
but Acrobat still show up...

As far as I know SumatraPDF is the only pdf viewer on MS Windows that supports inverse and
forward search. It is the default viewer in TeXnicCenter (Editor for LaTeX) and in RStudio (a
reasonable new Editor for R and LaTeX).
Including it as one of the options and getting it to work for inverse and forward search would
make a lot of MS Windows users happy. :-)
In case you are interested, here is a How-to for setting it up with AUCTeX:

Best
Oliver
