[ESS] ESS 12.09 released

Well actually I did delete my edited version of ess-site.el and did a svn update where only ess-site.el was replaced from repository. So I'm quite sure that ess-site.el is from the newest ESS version.

What I found out is that my setup works if I start emacs with a --no-site-file option. I found out that in site-start.el there is a (require 'ess-site). Emacs gets that from ESS version 5.14, a very old version. Now also loading ESS newest in my .emacs gives a collision between two ESS version.

Thank you for your hint Martin.

Yours sincerely / Med venlig hilsen

well, and is that *IDENTICAL* to the ess-site.el that is
shipped with the new ESS ?

I doubt very much.

ESS 12.09 contains only one (emacs lisp) file related to julia
and that's ess/lisp/ess-julia.el

If you load other "<foo->julia<-bar>" files in your startup,
that is the problem you have to resolve.

There's really no ESS problem here, but rather ESS and your own
private setup biting each other ...
