[ESS] ESS Help buffer does not focus automatically

Hello all,

I often invoke R help in ESS and find the help mode to be very handy,
with one exception: after typing ?command, the help buffer appears,
but the cursor stays in the R interaction window, so I have to C-x o
in order to read help.

ESS docs say that I should be "popped" into the help buffer, which to
me suggests that it should take focus.

Am I getting the expected behavior, and is there a way to
automatically focus the help buffer so that I don't have to C-x o
every time?

This is with ESS 5.3.10 and Emas 22.3.1
