[ESS] ... when editing R documents, 'delete' key behaves as 'backspace'

I've always had to double-check which version I'm using as the README 
and manual on the ESS website reference the development version.  Right 
now, the README file has 5.3.10 at the top , and it's always one point 
release ahead of what you can download from the "Source" link.

This is because the README/manual have the "new features in 5.3.10" 
sections, referencing fixes/features in the development version.

Anyway, I'm sure this is intended, but just wanted to point out a 
possible small point of confusion.
