[ESS] XEmacs + Gnome GUI and ESS

Hi all,

I installed Xemacs-gnome looking for a more ""beautiful"" interface. But now, 
the ESS don't work correct. When I try to start a R process, the xemacs-gnome 
show this message:

Wrong type argument: stringp, nil

But when I use the XEmacs without gnome it work.

Anybody know this problem?
