The message doesn't seem to
Have included the .emacs file. Weird.
I'll have to check with
My it guy about this.
Maybe they have it blocked
Here or something.

It has EXACTLY the load
Command at the top and nothing
Else but I will try to
Figure out how to send it.

Let me try here again
For the heck of it.

I just did what
Richard said and then
I opened up a test.R file but
Nothing different happened.

It was a regular emacs session.

I've included the .emacs file
In the case that something
Is wrong with it.

It resides in c:\program_files\emacs-21.3\bin.
so maybe that's the problem ?

I'm gonna give up for today
And come back at this tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for their help
And have a happy new year.

Inside emacs, open .emacs with
C-x C-f .emacs <RETURN>

It will come up empty.
write the load ess line and save it.
