[ESS] running Stata SE 8.2 using ESS on Mac OSX

I'm not sure it's solvable.  I thought that Stata 8 on Unix was a bit
problematic for ESS.

Bill Rising might have a clue, though (i.e. you might check the
Statalist rather than ESS list).
