Newbie here. I am running Emacs for Windows 20.7 and R1.8.1. on a WindowsXP box. Although the R bin directory is in the %PATH% (verified by running "rterm" at the windows' command window. I could not start R processes using "M-x R". The Emacs complain "Searching for program: no such file or directory, Rterm". Why Emacs or ESS could not find the %PATH%?
