ess bets mismanages help output?

i installed the ESS  ess-5.2.0beta4 on my Fedora Core 1 system (built 
rpm just fine too).

I notice the problem that after I run

help.start()

to initiate the mozilla help browse, then in ESS calls to help like

?lm

show the help output in the Emacs window (displacing my R code, 
incidentally!) rather than Mozilla.  In the past, didn't ESS send the 
help output to the browser?
