DDE-problem

As Rich suggested,
I have inserted only ddeclient in my xemacs (20.4.6) root directory. I did 
started S+4 process, but inter-communication problem persisted. After 
checking my instructions and changing into \\ or /), S-Plus still received 
invalid paths when I tried to load a source file from Xemacs to S-Plus.
R (1.3.1) started and ran smoothly.

I eventually installed ESS-5.1.19 using NTemacs 21.9.90 and, at the moment, 
seems to work fine.
