Installing ESS for R in Win2000

Which emacs? current is ntemacs 20.7
Which ESS? current is 5.1.19
The installation instructions for ESS on windows machines were imporved
about a year ago.  If you are using an older version, the instructions
are less good.  Be sure to follow the windows installation instructions,
not the unix instructions.

The file ess/README is the starting place.  That is where the windows
installation instructions are.

If you still have difficulty, please send the error messages along
to ess-help.
