Modifying ess-dump-filename-template for R

This is undoubtedly very simple, but not obvious to me.

The documentation for ESS refers to S functions and S objects and
there is an indication that other dialects are covered by the
discussion.

I'm trying to work out how to get the function template to be
activated when I do a C-c C-d for a new function.

In /usr/local/ess-5.1.19/lisp/ess-cust.el has this definition:

(defcustom ess-dump-filename-template (concat (user-login-name) ".%s.S")
"*Template for filenames of dumped objects.
%s is replaced by the object name.

There must be a simple way to get the R equivalent referred to, but I
can't work out where R is being referred to so that I can put in an
equivalent definition.

Thanks
