Hello,
I am using ESS 5.1.16, with emacs 20.7.2 on a sun.
I don't understand the following behavior of the R help under ESS.
When I start the htlm version of the help pages with
> help.start()
everything works fine: netscape pops up with the main help page.
At this point,
> options("htmlhelp")
$htmlhelp
[1] TRUE
But then, if I ask for help with, say
> help(plot)
I get the required help page in another buffer in emacs and not in
netscape. Is this an expected behavior? (It is not when running R in a
term window.) How can I fix/change it?
Suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Giovanni
