underscore and ess-5.1.8

[Vin Everett]

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with emacs-20.7.1 and ess-5.1.8 whereby if you 
load a file using SAS or STATA when you go to edit it you get "<- " when you 
press "_"

I don't get using Xemacs when (require 'ess-site) is set.

Has anyone else come across this ?
