Installing ESS under EMACS/Win98

I did it the dirty way:

1. As I remember right, I had to use the *tar.gz file, because the zip
files lacks one nessesary file

2. I copied the .el file in the emacs -lisp direc.

3. add 

(load "d:/emacs-20.7/lisp/ess-site")

to c:\.emacs

4. make a C-x C-d to your lisp dir, mark the new *.el (type m)an  "B" to
byte-compile the new packages (this is not nessesary).

then: newer use  C-C C-R (es-eval-region), and don't wonder if the
"tab" to complete a command will run minutes to index all R-commands,
etc. If you really want to have fun with your work, use linux.
