SAS-mode

SAS-mode gives editing facilities for myfile.sas files.

M-x SAS doesn't work on the PC. SAS for Windows does not use
either of the protocols that ESS uses to communicate with running
SAS processes. ESS uses standard input/output on unix machines and
uses ddeclient to connect with S+4 on Windows.

On Windows with SAS the options are
1. edit in emacs and manually pick up lines with the mouse and
drop them into the SAS window that you started directly from the icon.

2. use the M-x ess-sas-submit command (which could be on one of several keys
depending how you set up your system).
