|
| There's only one public ESS - list and that's where the
| announcement went --- on July 28 .
| { I had 'BCC:'ed it to ESS-debian,
|   but my mailing list filters don't accept postings via BCC. }
|
| Here's the svn log :

| Changed paths:
|    M ChangeLog
|
| Version 5.3.8
| ----
|
| The changes since then are too little for a new release (5.3.9).
| But I think debian should release 5.3.8 proper (i.e. up to rev 3929).

It is too late anyway for the freeze. And if we make a new release, why not
use what is current in svn?

Also, I forgot to ask earlier: did anything happen with respect to our open
Debian bug report:  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=371058
