[ESS-bugs] ess-mode 17.11 [Released git: d03efb64579f]; Error Unknown specializer "R" when evaluating run-ess-r

Thanks -- it seemed to have been a compilation / version issue.  I deleted ESS, upgraded all Ubuntu packages, and then
re-installed it, and it works great now.  Sorry about that, I should have double-checked!
