[ESS-bugs] ess-mode 17.11 [Released git: d03efb64579f]; Error Unknown specializer "R" when evaluating run-ess-r

Hi there,

When I try to run R by typing M-x R, I get the following error message:
Unknown specializer "R"

I can run R from the command line.

I use Ubuntu 18.04, emacs 25.2.2.
