Hi Vitalie:

No, they are not documentation per se.  They are Function key templates.  When you are
learning ESS[SAS] you print them off and tape them to your keyboard above the function
keys so that you know which key does what.  After a sufficient amount of mental/muscle
memory develops, then you don't need them anymore.

    Is that SAS documentation? If so, I don't think it should be part of ESS.
