Hello,

under Arch Linux the make install step fails in the etc subdirectory when I pull sources from git.

********************* VERSIONS **************************
GNU Emacs 27.0.50
ESS 17.11
git HEAD 4697717b
*********************************************************
cd etc; make install
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/haawda/paketierung/meine_Pakete/emacs-ess-git/src/emacs-ess/etc'
mkdir -p /home/haawda/paketierung/meine_Pakete/emacs-ess-git/pkg/emacs-ess-git/usr/share/emacs/etc/ess/icons
mkdir -p /home/haawda/paketierung/meine_Pakete/emacs-ess-git/pkg/emacs-ess-git/usr/share/emacs/etc/ess/ESSR/R
cp -p *.S sas-keys.* ess-sas-sh-command *.jl /home/haawda/paketierung/meine_Pakete/emacs-ess-git/pkg/emacs-ess-git/usr/share/emacs/etc/ess
cp: cannot stat '*.S': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'sas-keys.*': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat 'ess-sas-sh-command': No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [Makefile:50: install] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/haawda/paketierung/meine_Pakete/emacs-ess-git/src/emacs-ess/etc'
make: *** [Makefile:8: install] Error 2

The mentioned files "*.S sas-keys.* ess-sas-sh-command *.jl" are not there indeed.

The tarball version works fine.

Best Regards
