[ESS-bugs] ess-mode 14.11 [elpa: 20141114.1503]; Strange ³No documentation² error in ESS

If you enter and eval the following lines in emacs+ess:

    x = list()
    x$a = 1
    x$aa = 2

Then type

    x$

and wait for the autocompletion, ess will prompt:

    No documentation for 'x$a' in specified packages and libraries:
you could try '??x$a'

and the file will be locked, in fact the whole content will disappear, all you can see is this error message.
