[ESS-bugs] comint bug?

I do work with transcripts implicitly, a lot: If you package ./tests/
 or  'R CMD BATCH'
you get *.Rout (and possibly *.Rout.save) files and they are -- of
course -- in transcript mode;
and that *is* indeed very useful to navigate, re-evaluate, or "clean
region" to produce an *.R script.

OTOH, I have never used the feature Stephen mentioned.
I'm glad you are looking into it. I assume that it is quite an
isolated small problem, and will not need a long grace (aka "wait")
period after the fix (before releasing 13.09-1 !!)
