Hi Gang:

I'm going to chime in on building (who can stop me, right ;o)  But,
I can't comment on the best way to deliver ESSR:  I'll leave that to
the rest of you, but I will test as always...

Anyways, I agree that we should assume, perhaps require, that make was
run as we always have prior to github, MELPA, yum/apt-get, etc.  That
would restore some uniformity and sanity which I was pleading for
madly yesterday.  If we can't assume that, then it's anarchy.
