Dear Stefano:

Thanks for the bug report.  However, there is no
ess-R-object-tooltip command in ESS and the original URL
is no longer active, i.e.
http://www.sigmafield.org/2009/10/01/r-object-tooltips-in-ess/
Unless I am mistaken, I believe this is not an ESS issue at all.
Perhaps, if you share more details about the issue we could be
of more assistance.  But, we only support ESS as released.
