when in ESS[S] mode (although shouldn't it say ESS[R] when I use R?) i
usually see function arguments in the bottom of the windows when I write
function(.
However, with some functions it does not work.
Try typing "png(" and the bottom line will say: "Not enough arguments
for format string" and the bell makes a sound.
