Hi,
I found a strange behaviour when I'm running R in ESS 5.3.7 with Emacs 21.4.
I try to evaluate an expression like "a^b" (for example "2^5") in the R
buffer, then sometimes Emacs disappears suddenly (it depends on the
numbers "a" and "b"), and the control is returned to the console showing
the message: "Fatal error (11).Segmentation fault"
I know that to be right I should type the "^" key two times ("2^^5"),
but sometimes I forget this, and I get that error (with its
consecuences...).
I'm using a Red Hat EL5, and a spanish keyboard (so I have to press
"shift" + "^" to obtain that character).
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Israel
