[ESS-bugs] Asynchronous operations in ESS Shell under XP

Dear Stavros -

(quick answer before I catch the train to the mountains...).

For #0 - unfortunately, ESS isn't as good as SLIME.  But some of us
are thinking about it...

For #1 - I don't recall a solution... others?

For #2 - I believe C-g should get you moving again without killing
anything... (hack against a logic bug in handling events within
ESS/Emacs).
