[ESS-bugs] ess-mode 5.3.7; can't plot from ess

I updated to the latest ess from svn yesterday. Today, after rebooting
my computer and opening up ess, I can't plot. When I try, emacs
freezes - i.e., stops responding to input, and the R process takes up
90%+ of the processor, as reported by htop. C-g doesn't work, C-c C-c
echoes to the emacs screen, but doesn't stop the plotting. No
X-windows appear. I can still plot from R running in an xterm window.
The actual plot I tried to do was just a simple
plot(1:10, 1:10)
Is this a problem with ess or my setup?
Thanks,
Tyler
