Hello there,

I just downloaded and installed ESS-5.3.1 on a Unix machine.  So far
everything, almost, seems to work as expected; one liitle glitch annoys me
a bit though: parenthesis enlighthing and colors used for searches have
changed after installing 5.3.1.  I haven't changed anything in my .emacs
file excepted the path pointing to the ESS version to use.

Anyone has an idea why this occured and how to restore the old behaviour?
I am under Emacs 21.1.1, I have no control over this and the admin. won't
upgrade yet!
