[BioC] Nearest Template Prediction?

Is there an R module that does NTP?  Hoshida 2010 
refers to R code that is part of GenePattern, but I'd rather
not deal with the admin headaches of setting up a 
GenePattern server, and I prefer that all my analyses are
self-contained anyway.  

Are there any packages that do this yet?  Should I just
download GenePattern, find the R code in question,
and adapt it to my needs? Thanks
