If the p values are all NA, no tests have been carried out and 
somethiung went wrong. I looked through the code that you attached and 
could not find anything wrong. Maybe you could save your ecs object 
(with 'save( ecs, file="ecs.rda" )') and send it to me via e-mail, then 
I can try to investigate.
