Hi Sandhya,
We've used R/bioconductor on XP 64bit and things work just fine. Keep in
mind that this will be a 32bit version of R. There are currently no
tools that can compile a 64 bit version of R on windows. This means you
will not be able to take advantage of the speed and available memory
increase of a 64-bit machine.
Also, please do not use an existing message to reply to when posting on
the list. Some email clients treat that as an actual reply and it also
messes up the list archives. You should create a new message instead.
