[BioC] Difference between MAS 5.0 via R and GCOS

I am new, not familiar with the customs yet; apologize, if I err. Question:

Is there replacement for the following website, describing the
difference between MAS 5.0 via Bioconductor and GCOS (Affy software)?
(Reference found in "Description of affy" by Gautier et al.)
