[BioC] makePlatformDesign error

Hello,

I am attempting to load the makePlatformDesign package so 
that I can utlize the oligo package.  However, when I try to 
the load the makePlatformDesign package I receive this error:

> library(makePlatformDesign, lib.loc="/home/rwillia1/Rlib/")
Error in package_version(vers) : invalid version 
specification


Here is my sessionInfo():
